Modeled based on a modified version of Chris Lo’s DIY Hydroponics Tower Pod (Chris Loh – Official (clohofficial.com))), This single tower can be built cheaply using only PVC tubing, a bucket, and a pump. The water in the bucket is red because liquid plant food is dissolved in it. The problem with this design was that the water was running down too fast, and the plants were not getting enough water, so a 3D sieve was printed and attached to the top. The build process is easy; holes are created by: 1. Creating a small incision into the pipe using a saw. 2. Using a heat gun to heat the incisions. 3. An empty Coke bottle is pushed into each incision to create a hole.
